We must not allow US pressure to stop Israel from completing its elimination of the Palestinian terrorist infrastructure. The job must be finished fully.

If possible, send a fax every day to President Bush. If you cannot send a fax, then either telephone (lines are often busy) or send an email message. Postal mail (since the anthrax attacks) will probably not get through. We include the address only for reference.

Keep your messages short, and make sure that your viewpoint is clear in the very first sentence! If at all possible, try to recast the sample letter rather than using it verbatim.
Subject: Let Israel Finish the CLEANUP of TERRORISTS
Dear President Bush,
Please do not press Israel to withdraw prematurely. Please allow Israel to finish hunting down the extensive leadership of the suicide bombing brigades and their weapons and explosives.
Arafat has created a culture of hate and violence that must be stopped. The safety of the entire democratic world depends on this. The terrorist culture must not be allowed to stand and to appear to offer any hope of success.

GENERAL POINTS WHEN WRITING A LETTER:
* make your viewpoint clear in the first sentence;
* do not use inflammatory or abusive language;
* be specific, positive, and professional;
* let your points do the talking;
* letters sent by fax or postal mail are probably more effective than email messages; phone calls may be even more effective.
