- The Women's Shiur on Shabbat afternoon will be resuming this week, Parshat Chayei Sarah, with the inaugural shiur being presented by Rabbi Rothwachs. This class is a long standing one in our shul, very informal and informative. The shiur meets every Shabbat afternoon and is given by different members of the community. Rabbi Rothwachs has agreed to present the shiurim on Shabbat Mevarchim. Women of all ages and backgrounds are invited. Time of shiur-TBA. Contact imapt1@aol.com for details

Arzei Darom's Monthly Rosh Chodesh Shiur for Women:
A series of women's shiurim on Rosh Chodesh are being given by Rochi Lerner, who has been giving adult education classes in Judaic studies for the past 25 years. The focus of the shiurim is topics related to women?s unique relationship with G-d and Judaism.
Rochi's background includes an extensive Jewish education, culminating with study at Yavneh Teacher?s Seminary in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Chofetz Chaim Women's Learning Group has, thank G-d, completed "Chofetz Chaim: A Lesson a Day." We are now moving on to "Guard Your Tongue: a Practical Guide to the Laws of Lashon Hara" by Rabbi Zelig Pliskin. We meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at different homes in Bergen County (usually Teaneck or Fair Lawn).
We will begin Rabbi Pliskin's "Guard Your Tongue" this Sunday, June 30 at 9:00 a.m. at the Weissler home. You can contact Chana Weissler at weissle@attglobal.net
The program, held from 8-10 p.m. on Thursday nights, is open to any girl or woman from 9th grade up. NCSY membership not required to attend. The program includes independent learning in pairs or small groups, some "school review," and occasional guest speakers.
